I LOVE this post and perspective!! I always try to tell people that get upset with lowballers that every seller is trying to make a buck, and every buyer is trying to get a great deal, and that can cause some mismatched expectations between buyer and seller. It seems like we live in a time where people feel entitled, and get personally offended if there is any difference of opinions.
It's so easy to respond to a lowball offer with just "No thanks" instead of trying to be rude back. Asking a question about price isn't a rude or annoying step in the selling process in my opinion, but everyone is different! I just try to believe the best in everyone and know that when it comes to ANY OfferUp transaction, I'm the one that gets to decide who to buy from or sell to. If someone doesn't want to pay enough - I won't sell to them. If a seller is being rude or selling an item for too much - I won't buy from them. I could go on about this topic forever, @Phil_Webber
