Seller protection question

I sold a pair of earphones on here 2 weeks ago, I shipped them w/ the box & the item was marked delivered 12/30 but the buyer opened a buyer protection claim stating it was damaged or wasn’t as described so now here it is 1/12 & I haven’t heard nothing else about the next step.. ? What’s going on?
