I had a similar situation this week, no scan from usps at all. It was sent to the offer payment specialist (or similar) and was extended. In the meantime it was delivered to the buyer (still never one scan) and all was resolved. This is Usps at fault, but it seems that the payment cancelation system needs some adjustments for these things. Some situations just need an extra day or two. Contact a community manager directly with your concerns. It will work out. Good luck.

What are you talking about? I've been in business 18 years online and this has happened several times in the past. The buyer has no control over this so I don't know why you keep mentioning the buyer. The buyer will get her package in 3 or 4 days just like normal. So if its canceled in the mean time they will have the package and I'm not paid because it was returned by the system so I don't know what buy something else has to do with it. Its already scanned as delivered because it was never scanned accepted. I'm already dealing with a similar problem here I don't need two more. If you think you're helping OU with your comments of what they will and won't do you're making them look worse...Have a good night.
@RevivalGypsy I agree the programming is a bit strange with this 3 day thing especially when you drop a package off late Saturday and it doesn't get scanned till Monday. There goes two of your days..

You have been in business 18 years, neglected to pay attention to the OU shipping TOS before you initially used it, came on the forum and complained for how many days?  

 

Majority of your posts are in regards to your complaints about not being paid from using the shipping option.  I was trying to "help" you,but since it was unsolicited advice, you have my apologies.  

 

In the future, if you need assistance from either Elin or MJ...make sure to input the "@" in front of their handle, so that they are tagged, as I did in my initial reply to your post on this thread.

I came on here asking for help with that and you randomly brought up a bunch of word vomit and because you don't use the shipping feature you have no idea what's going on...This has nothing to do with what your comments are about AGAIN...I've read the TOS a million times so I have no idea what you're implementing. I asked a question as to who I need to contact and brought it up because it does happen with the post office. You get on here and attack people with random thoughts of your opinions. Its rude, it drives people away and over all is not a good reputation for OU. I already have one case pending outside of offer up so I'm trying to work with them so I don't have to report another case and after talking with you last night your attitude almost made me want to file another one but I decided to try and work it out again. You should not be on here giving advice.
@Mj_206 I can't finding a contact for the shipping team to message them. If they need to contact the post office they can call them I have the number. It was a mistake made by the postal clerk who pushes the wrong button when she scanned the package. It showing as deliver to a p.o. box at my post office and I don't have a p.o. box. I have reported it to the main post office 800 number also

I don't use the shipping feature becasue it is inefficient and unrefined. I even went as far as warning people months ago when it as in beta, since the guinea pigs complained as well. You experienced it first hand, but decided to use it again. You had a hiccup with USPS on this occasion, and posted it on here. I tagged Elin and MJ on it, and should have left it there.

 

In the future, if you have a problem you can also just PM either Elin and MJ, rather than the open forum, where anyone can and will reply.

 

As I have previsouly noted, I apologize for the unsolicited advice.

@BrightMoonstone - USPS not scanning packages feedback is actually very helpful info for me to pass on. I believe our internal Shipping team can correct this on their end, so I'll pass this info along.

Since our steps are so dependant on USPS scanning and following steps correctly, I can certainly see how some hurdles can come up if they aren't doing the right steps. Elin and I pass on feedback to the appropriate teams constantly, and this is valuable feedback that we can take into consideration when improving on this feature.
