NOT getting paid after shipping

SOLVED
@esc2010 Again I don't think you're understanding, your package is tracked by the system so they know when the package is delivered, even if the sale was canceled it would still show the package delivered. A claim takes time to process because the protection is a Stripe process! Offerup offers protection with the Stripe service so when they have to contact Stripe, Stripe doeant tell the Offerup employer how long its gping to take! Please read the TOS it will lead you to the Stripe links and you can read the Stripe process.
Level 3
Lol ok I literally showed them the tracking number and OfferUp also showed on their system that they were tracking my package. So why does it matter if the package gets there or not? I still want my money. I have proof I shipped my item and OfferUp has it too. So.. what exactly am I not understanding again?? And yeah my package got there in 2 days but my reimbursement came back in 30? That’s not right. At least update me with what stripe is doing like if my claim went through or even a claims number would be nice. PayPal is so much easier and transparent to work with. And yeah I’m familiar with companies like stripe and PayPal and how long they take but where’s OfferUp in any of this. They didn’t do anything for me. I know how stripe works don’t be so condescending and tell me to read the terms.
If you know how payment claims work you know even paypal has time consuming dispute process...have a great day! Again, please read the TOS it has all your questions that you're not understanding from my comments. This back and forth is silly when the answers are published on the TOS

@esc2010 we'll make sure your case is escalated.

Level 3
My case is already solved apparently.. I mentioned it in a previous post but almost exactly a month after I shipped my item my payment just appeared in my bank account without any apology or notification from OfferUp. And I’ve been escalated a hundred times already. What I had to do was resort to contacting my friend who works at OfferUp. I’m not asking for help anymore just giving my review of what’s happened.
multiple claims were opened for one case and wondering why it took 30 days..
Level 3
And I already told you.. I know it’s time consuming and takes forever but I wasn’t told anything. Not even any mention about stripe or that I had a claim or anything. I was simply told over and over again “your case is escalated and a payment specialist is working on it”. That’s it. No status about my case at all or any progress metrics. Up until I finally got my money back nobody messaged me back or issued a formal apology for the terrible service. At least PayPal will give me a deadline when the case will be resolved and be with me every step of the way. It’s much more reassuring
Level 3

Just stop. Listen to what I’m saying. Lol. I OPENED MULTIPLE CASES BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING CLOSED AND MARKED AS “RESOLVED” WITHOUT ACTUALLY BEING RESOLVED AFTER JUST TWO DAYS. And I wouldn’t have to open cases if there was another  way to talk to someone than having to open a case. I’m not some stupid impatient monkey opening multiple cases for no  reason. You’re really testing me right now.

Hopefully, we'll get to a place where we can give out specific deadlines like that, @esc2010. We are working on a bunch of great updates right now. I'm sorry for all of this inconvenience, and I'm glad you had a friend you were able to chat with.

When you open multiple cases they close them because they only need one! Have a super awesome day! 😉
