Honestly, I have never felt such unceratainty receiving payment after selling an item online. I have shipped 2 items on offerup, and currently they are shown to be delivered and that payment HAS been deposited into my bank account, while in reality it HAS NOT. There is no reflection what so ever in my bank accounts that payments have been deposited, I have gone multiple times through transction history and nothing seems to be pending or deposited yet.
Reaching out to customer service up to this point yield no answers or even a single response. This has to be the worst customer service I ever had! Please, whoever can be of an assist, do reach out!!
I’m going through the exact same situation. My sale was extended two days to ship the item, which happen to fall on a Saturday. I put the package in the mail pick up box at my local post office Saturday night. On the OfferUp app I clicked on the button that said that I shipped it. The post office is closed on Sunday and the following Monday happened to be Martin Luther King day, a recognized holiday by the US Postal Service. On Monday I received a message from OfferUp that my sale has been canceled and that I am free to sell the item to other people. The item was in the mail and being shipped to the buyer! Two days later, I received a notification saying that another person has purchased my jacket because I was automatically excepting full price offers. So at the moment, I have two buyers whose money has been taking out of their account add me the seller has not received a dime. I have emailed offer up for separate times and have not heard a word. I am at this so called customer service is a joke. Now I know why they don’t give us phone numbers for us to call, only a generic email address. Any help on this would be much appreciated. This is actually a very simple fix on their end. I just need some advice or help on how I can get into contact with customer service!
Yes i did. My first email was sent to customer care. Couple days later they forwarded it over to some payment specialist i believe. Couple of weeks of gone by without a word.
@Jsabo81 - after reviewing your account and payments, it looks like this has already been resolved.
Per the response from our Shipping Team - "Sorry for the issues with your payment. We’ve submitted a request to disburse these funds to you. This request can take 2 to 4 business days to complete.
Once the funds have been disbursed to your deposit method, it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days for your financial institution to process these funds and show as available in your account."
If you have further questions, please respond directly to the email you received from our team. That will route yo back to the agent that assisted you.
