Organization of Search Results

OfferUp search results seem disorganized, with no posting date or distance visible on each result when searching Newest or Closest.  Even price is not orderly when searching Price: Low to High, or Price: High to Low, with prices out of order.  How are search results organized?  If searching by Newest First, for example, is the newest listing at the top left in search results, with older results filling the row to the right in order of posting timestamp, then continuing in timestamp order down row by row to oldest?  Is the Closest result at the top left and then to the right and down row by row in order of distance to farthest?  Also not helpful is the presentation of search results in a diagonal tile layout vs. a normal grid.  The diagonal tile layout is harder to scan visually, and easier to miss something here and there.  As a new OfferUp member and buyer searching for items, the whole thing comes off as a jumble, leaving me with low confidence in search results at this point.  Are there settings somewhere to display timestamp and distance?  Is there a setting to de-select tile order and select grid order?  Thanks.
