@Louiegee444 and @Jb2112 - please trust me when I say that your cases have been escalated. At this point, there isn't anything else that can be done aside from waiting for our teams to respond.

What about mine?  Where is my money?  Im one of the original posters on this thread and still have not been paid.

I intentionally avoid the shipping path because of it.  I sold 2 items above $100 each and I am yet to get paid.

And please get the **bleep** out of here with being offended by the profanity.  Freedom of speech and you are working for an organization that is withholding our funds.  Take the heat....I know you are doing your job but imagine for a little how we feel and know that the frustration is real.

Freedom of speech just allows you to say what you want. It doesn't make you immune against clearly stated rules. It's posted at least 10 times on these forums that profanity will result in a ban. You have freedom of speech, but not freedom to break the rules of these forums. I'm exercising my freedom of speech to educate you on our rules.

You can get your point across without swearing...

yes frustration is real and they really just seem to give you something about not my job or anything im not a payment specialist , then what is point of forums if your payment specialist cant even help who will help us. Its sad because i know im not gonna receive money and offerup will never offer help with your situation so bascially we got scammed by offerup

 @Jb2112 you didn't have your deposit account set up until just now. It would physically be impossible for us to pay out a seller that doesn't have an account for us to pay them at...  Our payments team just sent you an email.

 

@Louiegee444 our payments team is currently drafting you an email. Your funds will be avail the 15th.

 

Stating that OfferUp doesn't respond to help requests is not a valid statement. I don't have access to all the tools our Customer Care team has, but I can look into user requests and see when/if they received a response. I can verify that these emails have been sent out, or will be sent within minutes.

Reopening this thread.

 

@Jb2112 and @Louiegee444 have both been notified that their money is on the way. One didn't have a deposit account set so it was impossible for us to pay out, the other was within the timeline. I'm still not sure how @Louiegee444 "knew they wouldn't ever get paid" - yet the money is currently on the way to their account. Maybe they assumed they wouldn't get paid because they knowingly sold counterfeit items, but we're still paying out and closing the account.

 

I won't put up with people spreading misinformation on these forums, or attempting to create a false narrative. I'll never understand why people come to these forums to say they never got paid when the issue is on their end. There will be posts made about users not receiving their funds, but they never come back to update when they do hear back from us or when they're paid. So here are the updates straight from me.

Ok. put up with what you want but there's been no misinformation spread on the form the money you say is being paid isn't there is no change on my account nothing has been done still hasn't been done

@Mj_206 Well I'd love for you to look into why AGAIN, I'm not being paid. It most definitely doesn't have to do with my end because I have been successfully paid thru the app before (albeit at a snails pace) Once again I'm sitting here waiting for the $92 that  offerup owes me and has not paid. I have emailed several times, tweeted and written on facebook. I got one response asking for the email attached to my OU account which I provided and still nothing... no response after that again. So please explain to me... why I'm not being paid. Because now I get to be late on my car payment because I was banking on the money being in my account weeks ago. Like it should have been.
